Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of WriteOff Wallet (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to maintain an account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access it in unauthorized ways, disrupting its operation, or using it to store unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Donation Records & Tax Disclaimer

WriteOff Wallet helps you organize donation records and generate summaries based on publicly available valuation guidelines. It does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for confirming deductibility with a qualified tax professional and the IRS.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment providers (Stripe for web, Apple for iOS). Fees, renewal terms, and any free-trial conditions are presented at checkout. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

SMS Program Terms

If you enroll a mobile number in our optional alert program, you consent to receive account-related and operational text messages. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile information (we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing).

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding the data you enter), is owned by WriteOff Wallet and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the donation data you submit and grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will satisfy every tax authority's requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WriteOff Wallet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
